2013 USPTA Mid-Atlantic Nominating Committee Memorandum
To: Members of the USPTA Mid-Atlantic Division

Subject: Nominations and Elections of the Board of Officers / Proposed Slate of Officers for the 2013/2014 Term/ Call for further nominations
Date: June 30, 2013
The Division Membership will elect the Board of Officers for a two (2) year term. The term of the Board of Officers will begin on August 15, 2013.
In accordance with the USPTA Mid-Atlantic By-laws, the Mid-Atlantic Division Nominating Committee proposes the following slate and calls for further nominations from the membership.
Proposed Slate of Officers for the 2013/2014 Term:

President: Carl Clark, Richmond, VA
First VP: Joni Hannah, Vienna, VA
Second VP: JD Almond, Marshall, VA
Treasurer: Terence Killen, Gaithersburg, MD
Secretary: Jason Grigg, Charlottesville, VA
Call for further nominations:
Nominations from the Membership should be returned to Julie Myers, at the USPTA National Headquarters by August 10, 2011.
USPTA World Headquarters, MA-Division Nominations, Attention Julie Myers
3535 Briarpark Dr., Suite One, Houston, TX 77042
Names added to the slate must receive the greatest number of nominations from the Membership for that position. Only one (1) name per position may be added and that person must have received a minimum of twenty-five (25) nominations from the Division. Nominations may be in the form of signatures that clearly endorse the nominee for said position on the Board of Officers.
Please contact the Nominating Committee Chair with questions regarding the nomination and election procedures or to discuss interest you may have in representing the membership as a state officer or committee chairperson.

Schedule and Procedure:
If there are no further nominations from the Membership a General Election will be unnecessary and the proposed slate will assume office on August 15, 2013
